PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE & PERSONALITY

I try to photograph as organically as possible, meaning I use sunlight over flashes (when possible) and try to avoid traditional posing techniques.  I love to follow kids, families, and couples around and get pictures of natural interactions and personalities.  When you are comfortable, it shows!  I am always open to your ideas and suggestions and strive to make our time together lighthearted, fun and creative.  
 

INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

You pay for my time and talent up front.  In exchange, I offer digital downloads and low priced professionally printed images.  I know the importance of capturing the moments in your life and being able to afford to print enough to put all around your home, office and give as gifts.  I also know it is necessary in this day and age to be able to have the digital files to make photo books, share with friends and family across the miles, and keep for slideshows down the road.  The images captured should be yours to cherish for a lifetime... so they are!

BOOKING A SESSION

Please use the contact page to ask about available dates and times.  A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
Note - I prefer to book sessions before 10 am and after 3:30 pm for lighting purposes but am flexible to your needs.  

CLOTHING SELECTION

Let your personality shine through and wear what you will be comfortable in.  Colors, textures, and accessories make for wonderful photographs. It is best to avoid wearing clothes with large logos and excessively wild prints.
 
If little ones have a special blanket, stuffed animal, hat, or accessory, please bring them along!  Personal touches make photographs extra special.  

LOCATION & TIMING

Once we've confirmed your session date and time, we'll discuss many things including the location of our shoot. We may decide on your home, a park, lake or another favorite spot... anywhere you will feel comfortable is perfect!

PHOTO FINISHES

All images are retouched and available in either B&W or color - most of the time you will get both!

POST SESSION

In approximately 2 weeks, your photos will be available for viewing in a private password protected gallery where you and your friends and family can view and order prints and digital downloads for 14 days.

I hope, in the end, you are so satisfied with your photographs and the service you received that you want to scream my name from the rooftops!  Even if you don't go to that extreme and just pass my name on to a few friends and family members, I will be forever grateful.  I feel you should be rewarded for doing so...every new client that you refer to Lindsey Koch Photography who books and completes a session, will earn you 5% off a future session. Also, your referral will receive 5% off their first session.
